Welcome to Jen Hammond Psych

A grounded space for healing, presence, and quiet transformation.

This isn’t just a website

It’s a pause. A breath. A doorway back to yourself.

If you’ve landed here, you’re not lost.
You’re listening — maybe for the first time in a while — to the quiet part of you that knows something has to shift.

Maybe you’ve been doing the inner work for years — the books, the courses, the journaling — and you’re still meeting the same patterns. Maybe you’ve spent a lifetime looking after everyone else… and you’re finally wondering where that leaves you. Or maybe you don’t have the words for it yet — just a quiet knowing in your body: something is ready to move.

Wherever you are, you’re not broken. You don’t need to perform your healing. You just need to be met.

Here, in this space, we work gently with the parts of you that have held on for too long. The places where your nervous system learned to shrink, people-please, over-function, or shut down — just to survive.

And when those places are met with care, something shifts.

Not overnight. Not perfectly.
But truly.

💜 From overwhelm → to grounded
💜 From reactivity → to regulation
💜 From self-doubt → to quiet trust
💜 From disconnection → to coming home to your body

This is the work I hold.
Real. Somatic. Subconscious. Safe.
It’s not about fixing yourself — it’s about finally feeling safe enough to be yourself.

If you’re ready, I’m here.

Let’s explore what’s possible for you in a safe, supportive space.

Meet Jen Hammond

Grounded. Holistic. Real.

I’m a clinical psychologist – but not in the way you might expect.
Over the years, the way I work, what I believe, and how I meet people has changed. What began as traditional therapy has evolved into something more holistic, more intuitive, and more honest.

I no longer separate the mind from the body, or the emotional from the spiritual. Because they were never separate to begin with.

Today, I work at the intersection of psychology, trauma-informed care, subconscious healing, and energy-based restoration. I’m also a certified Barbara O’Neill health coach, and I integrate nutritional and body-based wisdom into this work when needed.

Sessions may look like deep subconscious clearing (Psych-K), nervous system repair, inner child work, shadow healing, or simply holding space for what’s been waiting to be felt.

It’s not about fixing. It’s about returning – gently – to the places inside you that are ready to soften.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all healing. I believe in real presence. In rhythm. In listening. And in walking with you, not ahead of you.

I’m also a mother, a grandmother, and a lifelong student of the nervous system, and someone who knows what it feels like to walk through fire. That’s why this work matters to me.

We work and live on an organic farm and animal sanctuary in the Northern Rivers (Australia), where we care for rehomed and rescued animals. It’s a quiet, healing place – and it reminds me every day that restoration is possible.

I feel truly lovable, and it has changed every part of my life

Before working with Jen, I lived with this deep, nagging belief that I was unlovable. Every relationship, every interaction - even the way I spoke to myself - was shaped by this overwhelming sense of not being enough. I carried the pain of my past like a heavy weight, and it clouded everything I did. I felt isolated, trapped, and hopeless.

But through our work together, everything began to shift. Jen guided me to see the roots of my feelings, to understand why I carried this belief, and to release it with compassion. For the first time, I could see myself as worthy - not because of what I did for others, but simply because of who I am. I began to embrace myself, flaws and all, and to rewrite the story I had been telling myself for years.

Now, I feel truly lovable, and it has changed every part of my life. I’m more open in my relationships and no longer afraid to ask for what I need. I’ve let go of toxic connections and made room for people who genuinely uplift me. Most importantly, I’ve learned to love myself. I wake up each day with a sense of peace and joy that I never thought was possible. This work has been life-changing, and I am forever grateful for the freedom and love I’ve found within myself.

Healing isn’t just about the work we do in our sessions – it’s about creating an environment where transformation feels safe, nurturing, and intuitive.

That’s why I have intentionally cultivated a healing space that mirrors this journey – one that includes nature, animals, and deep connection.

My space is also home to rehomed and rescued animals – gentle, intuitive beings who remind us that we, too, are worthy of safety, love, and a fresh start. These animals embody resilience, and just like them, you too can reclaim your life, step into healing, and feel safe again.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in fear, guilt, self-sabotage, or emotional exhaustion, I want you to know – this doesn’t have to be your story forever.

Working with Jen was the best decision I’ve ever made

Before working with Jen, I always felt selfish if I took time to meet my own needs. I constantly put everyone else first-my family, my work, and even acquaintances-while I ignored what I needed to feel happy, healthy, and whole. Any time I thought about prioritizing myself, I was overwhelmed with guilt. I believed that self-care was indulgent or selfish, and it left me feeling drained, exhausted, and unfulfilled.”

Through my work with Jen, everything began to shift. She helped me understand that taking care of myself is not selfish-it’s necessary. I learned how my well-being directly impacts how I show up for others and that loving myself allows me to give more authentically. She taught me practical ways to prioritize self-care and to set boundaries without guilt. Most importantly, she helped me reframe self-love as a gift to myself and those I care about.

Now, I prioritize my self-care and self-love without hesitation. I feel more energized, more centered, and more present in every part of my life. Meeting my own needs has not only made me feel better-it’s improved my relationships and the way I approach challenges. I’ve learned to give myself permission to rest, recharge, and thrive, and it’s completely transformed the way I live. Working with Jen was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself and for the people I love.

Private Sessions

Gently Meeting What’s Ready

You don’t need to be fixed.

You don’t need to be told who you are.

You just need to be met - fully, safely, and in your own time.

That’s what this space is for

I work one-on-one with people who are carrying pain that has never been named – or who have done all the right things (therapy, journaling, affirmations, even years of “working on themselves”)… and still feel stuck.

Sometimes what’s surfacing is obvious: grief, trauma, addiction, anxiety, anger.
Sometimes it’s quieter: numbness. Fatigue. Feeling disconnected from your own body. A sense that you’re still living from survival – even if your life looks “fine.”

You don’t need a diagnosis to be seen here.
You just need to be willing to begin.

Session Details

Individual 1:1 sessions

60 minutes (online or in-person if local)

$222 AUD

These aren’t programs or packages.
You can come once — or as often as it feels right.

Each session is unique. Because you are.

What to expect

In a session, we meet what’s ready to be felt and gently supported.
There is no set agenda – only the pace and needs of your system.

Depending on what arises, we may work with:

  • subconscious reprogramming
  • somatic healing
  • nervous system support
  • inner child integration
  • shadow work
  • trauma-informed presence
  • practical emotional tools

This is not talk therapy. It’s body-based, field-aware, and grounded in care.

You don’t have to relive your past. You just need to feel safe enough to meet it.

What We May Work With

You don’t need to understand all of this beforehand. But sometimes the subconscious relaxes when it knows what to expect. Below are a few of the tools and approaches we may draw on – always led by what your system is ready for.

PSYCH-K®

Psych-K is a simple yet powerful way to shift subconscious beliefs that may be holding you back.

Using muscle testing and body-based balances, we identify limiting patterns and replace them with beliefs your nervous system can actually receive.

It’s not forceful. It’s not mind-over-matter.
It’s gentle, clear rewiring – aligned with your readiness.

Inner Child Healing

This is not about rehashing your past – it’s about meeting the younger parts of you who still feel stuck, unseen, or afraid.

Inner child work is not about coddling. It’s sacred, repair-based healing.

We don’t force anything. We listen to what your inner system is still carrying – and offer what was missing: presence, care, breath, safety.

Shadow Work

We all carry parts of ourselves we’ve learned to hide: anger, shame, grief, boundaries, even joy.

Shadow work invites those parts back into the light – not to shame them, but to understand them.

This work helps you reclaim the energy that’s been tied up in self-protection, avoidance, or fear… and bring it home.

Reparenting

Reparenting is about learning how to consistently offer yourself what you never received – without blame, guilt, or shame.

This may include learning how to self-soothe, hold boundaries, speak kindly to yourself, or stop abandoning your needs.

In session, we listen for where your system still feels young – and gently support it into wholeness.

Trauma-Informed Support

You will never be pushed here.

I work gently with trauma, at your pace – whether it’s recent or deeply buried. This isn’t about “getting over it.” It’s about building enough safety to feel what’s real… and soften.

You don’t have to be ready for everything.
You just have to be ready for the next step.

You’re not expected to have it all worked out.

You just have to begin.

I feel excited about the future for the first time in years

I never thought I’d find a way out of feeling I was stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, fear, and anxiety. I second-guessed everything I did, avoided putting myself out there, and lived in constant fear of failure or rejection. My dreams of being a confident musician and living a fuller, more spontaneous life felt completely out of reach. Even in social situations, I’d freeze up or overthink every little thing I said. I was living small, and I didn’t know how to break free.

Working with Jen helped me uncover and untangle the beliefs that were holding me back. Through her guidance, I learned to challenge my fears, embrace my strengths, and take small, courageous steps forward. She gave me tools to manage my anxiety, reframe my inner dialogue, and step into opportunities with confidence. For the first time, I felt like I could breathe and trust myself.

Now, my life looks completely different. I joined Toastmasters, and I actually enjoy speaking in front of people - a thought that would have terrified me before. I started playing in a band and feel so much more confident as a musician. I’m even socially more spontaneous, enjoying conversations without overthinking or worrying about judgment. I’ve gone from hiding in the background to truly showing up in my life, and I feel excited about the future for the first time in years. I owe so much of this transformation to the incredible work we did together.

I feel more grounded, self-assured, and capable than ever before

Life felt overwhelming and I was struggling with constant self-doubt at work. Anytime there was a conflict, I would avoid it, running away emotionally and sometimes physically. I’d tell myself it wasn’t worth it, but deep down, I knew I was scared-scared of confrontation, scared of being wrong, and scared of not being enough. The stress was eating away at my confidence, and I felt like I was shrinking more and more every day.

Through our work together, Jen helped me uncover why I reacted the way I did and gave me the tools to face these situations with strength and clarity. She taught me how to speak my truth in a way that felt authentic and empowered. I learned how to set boundaries - not from a place of fear, but from a place of self-respect and compassion. For the first time, I began to believe that I deserved to be treated with dignity and fairness.

Now, I approach work and conflict completely differently. I no longer run away or avoid difficult conversations. Instead, I face them with confidence, expressing myself clearly and setting boundaries to ensure I’m treated respectfully. My colleagues have noticed the shift, and I’ve gained so much respect - not just from them, but from myself. The transformation has been life-changing, and I feel more grounded, self-assured, and capable than ever before. Thank you, Jen, for helping me find my voice and step into my power.

The transformation has been incredible

Before working with Jen, I felt overwhelmed and stuck in my own business. I was too worried about upsetting my staff to tell them what I needed or to ask for things to be done in a professional way. Every time there was an issue, I’d freeze or avoid the conversation altogether, hoping it would resolve on its own. Deep down, I was scared of being seen as too harsh or losing people, but my hesitation was hurting my business and my confidence as a leader.

Working with Jen completely changed my approach. She helped me see that setting boundaries and speaking my truth isn’t unkind-it’s necessary for creating a healthy, productive work environment. She taught me how to navigate difficult conversations with clarity and professionalism and gave me the courage to let go of staff who weren’t contributing effectively or treating others kindly. For the first time, I felt empowered to lead in a way that aligned with my values and vision for my business.

The transformation has been incredible. I can now have those hard conversations without fear, and I’ve set clear expectations and boundaries that make running my business so much smoother. Letting go of staff who weren’t a good fit was tough, but it opened the door for positive changes, and my business is thriving more than ever. I feel proud of the culture I’ve created and confident in my role as a leader. Jen didn’t just help me grow as a business owner-she helped me grow as a person.

Parenting has become less stressful and much more fulfilling

When I started working with Jen, I was constantly second-guessing myself as a parent. Every decision I made felt like it was under scrutiny-from family members, from my husband, and even from myself. I was so worried about being criticized or doing something wrong that I struggled to have a voice and often let others influence how I parented. I felt stuck in this pattern of doubt, which left me feeling like I wasn’t the parent I wanted to be.

Through our work, Jen helped me uncover the fears and beliefs that were holding me back. She guided me to trust in my own instincts and reminded me that I know my children best. I learned how to parent from a place of confidence rather than fear, and to stop worrying so much about what others think. Jen gave me tools to assert myself in conversations with my husband and family members, so I could make decisions that align with what I feel is right for my children.

Now, I feel so much more confident in my parenting. I’ve let go of the need to please others or gain their approval, and instead, I focus on what feels right for me and my family. I trust myself more and feel empowered to advocate for my children in a way I never could before. Parenting has become less stressful and much more fulfilling, and I’m finally showing up as the parent I’ve always wanted to be. I’m so grateful for this transformation-it’s changed not only how I parent but also how I see myself.

Working with Jen was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself and for the people I love.

Jen helped me see my worth

I reached out to Jen because I was overwhelmed by self-doubt and guilt at the thought of leaving my relationship. It was unhealthy, unhappy, and abusive, but I felt so confused and muddled that I couldn’t imagine making a change. I constantly questioned myself-Was it really that bad? Was I being selfish? Could I ever make it on my own? The fear and uncertainty kept me stuck, even though deep down, I knew I deserved better.

Working with Jen gave me the clarity and strength I needed. She helped me untangle the web of confusion and see the relationship for what it truly was. Through our sessions, I began to rebuild my confidence and trust in myself, learning to listen to my inner voice instead of the fear and guilt that had held me back. She guided me to see that leaving wasn’t selfish-it was an act of self-love and hope for a better future.

With her support, I finally found the courage to leave. It wasn’t easy, but I felt stronger and more certain than I ever thought possible. Now, I look back and see how far I’ve come. I feel free, hopeful, and excited for the life I’m creating. Leaving that relationship was the best decision I’ve ever made, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Jen’s guidance and unwavering belief in me. She helped me see my worth, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

I feel more present and connected in every part of my life

When I first connected with Jen, my health was suffering, but I still felt like I had to keep pushing. I was constantly working, creating, parenting, and trying to make money, even though I was running on empty. Rest felt impossible, and I believed that if I stopped, everything would fall apart. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and completely disconnected from myself, but I didn’t know how to slow down without feeling like I was failing.

Through our work together, Jen showed me that prioritizing my health and well-being wasn’t a luxury-it was essential. She helped me uncover the beliefs that were keeping me stuck in overdrive and guided me to take time for myself, to rest, and to heal. At first, I was scared that stepping back would mean losing everything, but the opposite happened. As I focused on my health and well-being, I found clarity, energy, and a new sense of purpose.

Now, I feel more aligned than ever. Paradoxically, taking time for myself has made me even more productive. I’ve learned to manage change with grace and to pivot into an area of work that feels deeply fulfilling and aligned with who I am. My health has improved, my stress has decreased, and I feel more present and connected in every part of my life. Working with Jen was a game-changer-it helped me rediscover balance, joy, and a way forward that truly works for me.

I feel clear-headed, decisive, and confident

Before working with Jen, my mind felt like a constant fog. I was overwhelmed with indecision, overthinking every little choice, and questioning whether I was doing the right thing. I felt stuck, unable to move forward, and completely disconnected from my own intuition. The confusion was exhausting, and it left me feeling powerless and uncertain about almost every aspect of my life.

Through our work, Jen helped me untangle the thoughts and beliefs that were keeping me stuck. She taught me how to quiet the noise in my mind, connect with my inner wisdom, and trust myself to make decisions. For the first time, I felt clear about what I wanted and confident in my ability to move forward. She reminded me that clarity isn’t about having all the answers-it’s about trusting myself to take the next step.

Now, I approach life with a sense of calm and trust. I feel clear-headed, decisive, and confident in my ability to make choices that align with my values. The fog has lifted, and I finally feel like I’m in control of my own path. Working with Jen was a life-changing experience, and I am so grateful for the clarity and confidence I’ve gained.

I’m so grateful for Jen’s support and the freedom I’ve found

Looking back, I now see how much I needed help with feeling trapped in my own mind. My OCD was so overwhelming that even leaving the house felt impossible. I was stuck in routines and fears that kept me isolated and disconnected from the life I wanted to live. I couldn’t imagine making big changes, like leaving my boyfriend or finding work, because everything felt so out of reach and overwhelming.

Through our work together, Jen gave me the tools and support I needed to face my fears and take back control of my life. She helped me understand the patterns behind my OCD and guided me to develop new ways of thinking and coping. Step by step, I started to trust myself and take small, brave actions that led to bigger changes.”

Now, my life looks completely different. I’ve not only been able to leave the house, but I’ve also made huge, empowering decisions. I broke up with my boyfriend, moved back home, and found a job I love. I feel stronger and more capable than ever before. Jen helped me see that I am not defined by my OCD-it’s something I can work with and move beyond. I’m so grateful for her support and the freedom I’ve found.

Now, I wake up with gratitude instead of dread

My life was consumed by feeling drained and exhausted. I was tired all the time, stuck in depression, and on antidepressants that left me feeling numb and blah about life. I was surrounded by friends who constantly put me down, but I didn’t have the energy or confidence to change anything. Every morning, I woke up with a sense of dread, wondering how I was going to get through the day.

With Jen’s guidance, everything began to shift. She helped me untangle the thoughts and beliefs that were keeping me stuck and gave me the tools to take small but meaningful steps toward healing. She encouraged me to prioritize my own well-being, set boundaries, and start building a life that felt like mine again. Slowly, I started making changes-letting go of toxic friendships, pursuing things that brought me joy, and rebuilding my confidence.

Now, I wake up with gratitude instead of dread. I have a job I love, supportive friends who lift me up, and a renewed sense of purpose. I’m no longer just surviving-I’m thriving. I feel lighter, more hopeful, and genuinely happy to be alive. Jen didn’t just help me heal-she helped me rediscover who I truly am, and for that, I will always be grateful.

I feel more balanced and at peace

When I first connected with Jen, I was completely exhausted. I was trying to be everything for everyone-my family, my friends, my colleagues-and there was no time left for me. I felt like I was constantly running on empty, but I didn’t know how to stop. I thought if I didn’t show up for everyone else, I’d be letting them down, so I kept pushing myself harder and harder, even though I was barely holding it together.

Working with Jen helped me see that putting myself last wasn’t sustainable-and it wasn’t fair to me. She helped me understand that taking care of myself is not selfish; it’s essential. She guided me to set boundaries and prioritize my own needs without guilt. I learned how to say no and how to make space in my life for rest, joy, and things that nourish my soul.

“Now, I feel more balanced and at peace. I’ve stopped overcommitting myself and learned to ask for help when I need it. By taking care of myself, I’ve become even better at supporting the people I care about-and it feels good to show up for them without feeling depleted. For the first time, I have time and energy for myself, and I’m finally living in a way that feels aligned and sustainable. Jen completely changed how I see myself and my worth, and I’m so grateful for this transformation.

I’ve found peace

Before working with Jen, I didn’t realize how much I was carrying as my world had been turned upside down. My husband had always been my rock, but when he got very sick, I suddenly found myself as his carer—a role I wasn’t used to and didn’t feel prepared for. I was overwhelmed with grief for the life we’d had before and struggled to adjust to our new reality. It felt like I was losing him even though he was still here, and it broke my heart.

Through our work together, Jen helped me reframe my perspective and reconnect with the love that remains. She guided me to see that, while things have changed, my husband is still here, and the ways he expresses his love may just look different now. I learned how to honor my own emotions while embracing this new chapter with compassion and grace. She helped me find moments of gratitude and joy in the little things and gave me the tools to take care of myself while caring for him.

Now, I feel more grounded and connected, even in the midst of this challenging time. I’ve found peace in focusing on the love we share rather than what we’ve lost. This journey has deepened our bond in ways I never expected, and I feel so grateful for Jen’s guidance in helping me navigate it. She truly helped me find strength and hope when I needed it most.

Jen gave me the tools and support to heal and rediscover hope

I never realized how much my heavy burden of guilt, shame, and grief over my son’s estrangement was affecting every area of my life. I felt like I had failed as a mother and didn’t know how to move forward. The pain was so consuming that it overshadowed every part of my life. I couldn’t stop replaying everything I thought I had done wrong, and the weight of it left me feeling lost and unworthy of happiness.

Through our sessions, Jen helped me gently unpack the layers of guilt and grief I had been carrying. She guided me to recognize the complexity of the situation and to extend compassion to myself, something I hadn’t done in a very long time. She taught me that healing didn’t mean forgetting or dismissing my love for my son, but rather finding a way to honor that love while also reclaiming my life.

Now, I’ve begun to find meaning and purpose again. I’ve learned how to focus on the parts of my life that bring me joy and fulfillment, while holding space for my feelings without letting them define me. I feel lighter, freer, and more connected to myself. While the estrangement still hurts, it no longer consumes me. Jen gave me the tools and support to heal and rediscover hope, and I am so grateful for the transformation she helped me achieve.

I healed deep wounds

Before working with Jen, my relationship with my grandmother was a constant source of pain and conflict. She was manipulative, controlling, and used her wealth as a tool to exert power over me. I felt trapped and powerless, constantly second-guessing myself and my worth.

Through Jen’s transformational package, I learned to identify and heal the deep wounds caused by her narcissistic behavior. Jen guided me in setting clear, firm boundaries without guilt and reprogramming the belief that her money-or anyone’s approval-defined my value.

For the first time, I feel free. Free from her control, free from the emotional strings attached to her wealth, and free to live life on my terms. Thanks to Jen, I now have the confidence and strength to stand firm in my decisions and protect my peace. Her program gave me back my voice, my self-worth, and the clarity to never allow money or manipulation to control me again. It truly changed my life.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Just reach out when you’re ready.
I’ll meet you there.
